About Pearl rings
A ring puts the pearl where it is seen most — at the hand, in motion, catching light with every gesture. Our pearl rings range from a single Akoya set high on a plain band to Tahitian and South Sea pearls framed by pavé diamond. Each pearl is chosen for luster, surface, and overtone and set in fourteen-karat gold or platinum; every piece is made to our specification, then inspected and approved in New York.
Choosing a pearl ring
Akoya pearls bring the sharpest, most mirror-like luster — the classic white pearl at its most refined. Tahitian pearls carry darker overtones of green, aubergine, and steel. South Sea pearls are the largest, with a softer satin glow. Freshwater pearls offer the same warmth at a gentler price.
Wearing and caring for a pearl ring
A pearl is organic, and softer than diamond. Put the ring on last, after fragrance and lotion, and remove it for cleaning and swimming. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear. We check the setting at its complimentary annual inspection and cleaning.
