Pearl Necklaces

From a single strand to Tahitian pearls set with diamond, the necklace is where a pearl collection finds its center. Ours run from freshwater and Japanese Akoya strands, knotted on silk between each pearl and closed with a fourteen-karat gold clasp, to Tahitian and South Sea pearls framed by round-brilliant diamond. Each pearl is chosen for luster, surface, and overtone; every piece is made to our specification and approved in New York before it carries our name.

Choosing a pearl necklace

Freshwater strands offer warmth at a gentler price and layer easily. Akoya strands are the classic — mirror-bright and near-perfectly round. Tahitian pearls read dark, with green and aubergine overtones that shift in the light. South Sea pearls are the largest, with a soft satin glow.

Caring for a pearl necklace

Apply fragrance and lotion before the piece, not after. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear and store flat. Every strand is checked at its complimentary annual inspection and cleaning, and we restring on request — send the piece in once a year.
