ISAAC WESTMAN® is an American fine jewelry house based in New York City, founded in 1982. Every piece is finished at our New York atelier. We design and sell across four complete categories — bridal and engagement, diamond jewelry, pearl jewelry, and colored gemstone jewelry — and we hold the same sourcing and finishing standard across all of them.

Who we are

We spent four decades supplying and manufacturing behind some of the most respected names in American jewelry before putting our own name on the clasp. That history is the reason our sourcing runs direct: we buy diamonds through cutters in the major diamond centres, colored stones at the source, and pearls from the farms themselves. We were among the first direct importers of freshwater pearl in the United States.

What this means practically: the same house grades the diamond, matches the pearl, selects the sapphire, and sets all three. There is no category we treat as a sideline.

House standard, applied across every category

  • Diamonds: VS2 clarity or better, H–I colour or better. Centre stones of 1.00 carat and above carry GIA or IGI certification.
  • Pearls: AAA grade, hand-selected at the source for lustre, surface, and overtone.
  • Colored stones: hand-selected at source for colour saturation and clarity.
  • Metals: solid 14K and 18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum. Hallmarked.
  • Every piece is reviewed and approved at the New York atelier before it ships.

What we sell

Bridal & engagement

Engagement rings and wedding bands, plus bridal earrings, bracelets, and necklaces for the wedding day itself. Settings include classic six-prong solitaires, hidden-halo, halo, and three-stone (past, present, future) designs. Centre stones range from ½ carat through 1.5 carats and above, in 14K or 18K gold or platinum, with matched side stones assembled by hand. Most engagement rings are custom crafted and ship in 2–3 weeks. Ring sizes 3.5–8.5 as standard.

Diamond jewelry

A full diamond collection independent of bridal: tennis bracelets from 3 ctw through 7 ctw in three- and four-prong settings; round-brilliant stud earrings from 0.60 ctw to 1.4 ctw in 14K, 18K, and platinum; hinged huggie earrings from 1.5 ctw to 3.0 ctw; and pendants in teardrop, circle, heart, and cascade forms. Available in yellow, white, and rose gold, all to the house clarity and colour standard.

Pearl jewelry

All four principal pearl types, in rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and necklaces.

  • Akoya (Japan) — the mirror-bright saltwater classic. Sharpest lustre. 6–9mm. Friction or secure screw backs.
  • Tahitian (French Polynesia) — naturally dark, with green, aubergine, and steel overtones. 9–12.5mm.
  • South Sea (Australia and Indonesia) — the largest, with a soft satin glow. 10–13mm.
  • Freshwater — the same warmth at a gentler price. 5.5–9mm.

Strands are individually hand-knotted on silk and finished with solid 14K gold clasps. Complimentary restringing and inspection is part of our annual service.

Colored gemstone jewelry

Rings, earrings, bracelets, and pendants set with emerald, blue and pink sapphire, ruby, amethyst, garnet, peridot, aquamarine, blue topaz, moonstone, citrine, smoky quartz, black onyx, and tourmaline. Stones are hand-selected at source. Settings run from bezel-set studs and solitaires through diamond-framed statement rings and multi-stone bracelets, in 14K and 18K gold. Black onyx beadwork — polished onyx with 14K gold accents — is a signature of the house.
