ISAAC WESTMAN® is an American fine jewelry house, founded in New York in 1982 and now in its third generation. Every piece is made to our specification, then inspected and approved in New York before it carries our name. We design and sell across four complete categories — bridal and engagement, diamond jewelry, cultured pearl jewelry, and colored gemstone jewelry — and we hold the same sourcing and finishing standard across all of them.
Who we are
We spent four decades supplying and manufacturing behind some of the most respected names in American jewelry before putting our own name on the clasp. Three generations of the family have now kept the same standard and the same supply relationships.
Our founders were among the country's first direct importers of freshwater cultured pearl. That history is the reason our sourcing runs direct: we buy diamonds through cutters in the major diamond centers.
What this means practically: the same house grades the diamond, matches the cultured pearl, selects the sapphire, and approves the finished piece. There is no category we treat as a sideline.
House standard, applied across every category
- Diamonds: VS2 clarity or better, H–I color or better. Center stones of 1.00 carat and above carry GIA or IGI certification.
- Cultured pearls: AAA grade, hand-selected for luster, surface, and overtone.
- Colored stones: hand-selected for color saturation and clarity.
- Metals: solid 14K and 18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum. Hallmarked.
- Every piece is reviewed and approved in New York before it ships.
What we sell
Bridal & engagement
Engagement rings and wedding bands, plus bridal earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Settings include six-prong solitaires, hidden-halo, halo, and three-stone designs. Center stones from ½ carat through 1.5 carats and above, in 14K or 18K gold or platinum. Custom crafted, shipping in 2–3 weeks, ring sizes 3.5–8.5.
Diamond jewelry
Tennis bracelets from 3 ctw through 6.6 ctw in three-prong, four-prong, and two-row settings; round-brilliant studs from 0.60 ctw to 1.4 ctw; hinged huggies from 1.5 ctw to 3.0 ctw; and pendants in teardrop, circle, heart, and cascade forms. Yellow, white, and rose gold.
Cultured pearl jewelry
All four principal cultured pearl types, in rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and necklaces.
- Akoya (Japan) — the mirror-bright saltwater classic. Sharpest luster. 6–9mm.
- Tahitian (French Polynesia) — naturally dark, with green, aubergine, and steel overtones. 9–12.5mm.
- South Sea (Australia and Indonesia) — the largest, with a soft satin glow. 10–13mm.
- Freshwater — the same warmth at a gentler price. 5.5–9mm.
Strands are individually hand-knotted on silk and finished with solid 14K gold clasps.
Colored gemstone jewelry
Lab-created emerald, blue and pink sapphire, ruby, amethyst, garnet, peridot, aquamarine, blue topaz, moonstone, citrine, smoky quartz, black onyx, and tourmaline — in rings, earrings, bracelets, and pendants. Black onyx beadwork with 14K gold is a signature of the house.
